Pioneer Batch Graduated from SMU’s HR and LPM WSQ Programmes
30 October 2015 – The Singapore Workforce Development Agency (WDA) and Singapore Management University (SMU) today jointly celebrated the graduation of 60 participants who form the pioneer graduating cohort of two Singapore Workforce Skills Qualifications (WSQ) programmes offered by SMU’s Centre for Professional Studies (CPS) – the Human Resource (HR) Graduate Certification and Executive Certificate in Leadership and People Management (LPM) programmes. WDA and SMU MOU Signing Ceremony
3 July 2014 – The Singapore Workforce Development Agency (WDA) has appointed the Singapore Management University (SMU) as its first University partner to offer the Singapore Workforce Skills Qualifications (WSQ) in Human Resource (HR) and in Leadership and People Management (LPM). A Memorandum of Understanding was signed by WDA’s Chief Executive, Mr Ng Cher Pong and SMU’s President, Professor Arnoud De Meyer today, to signify the collaboration, in the presence of over 250 business and HR executives at SMU’s Mochtar Riady Auditorium. SMU and Chinese Chamber Strengthen Collaboration
2 April 2013 – SMU played host to the new Council members of the Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SCCCI). A campus visit was organised for the delegation, followed by a luncheon as a gesture of ‘neighbourly hospitality’. The two parties, which have been collaborating in a number of joint projects and initiatives over the years, also used the occasion to ink a Memorandum of Understanding. Read more
